LEVEL I ENLIGHTEN This introduction to the basics allows for a safe and effective yoga practice. You will come to know your physical body through the power of stretch, balance and internalizing your awareness. Classes include Sun salutations, forward and back bends, balancing and stretching postures that restore flexibility and strength to muscles and ligaments, while releasing held stress and tension.
LEVEL II LIBERATION With practice comes knowledge of the basics plus the strength, alignment and courage to explore more challenging postures such as shoulder and head stand, arm balances and hand stands.
GENTLE MOVEMENT Fondly referred to as Broken Bodies yoga, this class is geared towards individuals with injuries or wanting a slow, gentle class. Suited for old and young alike, the meditation bench is used for ease of movement and balance. A great class to end a stressful day or to practice yoga in a slow and easy manner.
OPEN - INSPIRATION This class is popular with all levels. We begin with a sequence of easy Sun salutations and yoga postures to warm up the body and calm the mind. This is followed by a gentle Do-In (Japanese self massage). There is time for meditation, vocalizing and relaxation leaving you feeling renewed, vibrant and ready to face the world again.
